Went to a going away party for a friend last night. It was a bit of an ego boost for me and I wished I would have arrived an hour earlier after some of the nice things I was hearing. Here's a smattering:
- Your hair always looks so great. (OK, obviously this person was lying, but I DON'T CARE! New best friend!)
- Has my editor called you yet?
- The other night at Cheesecake Factory everyone was talking about how great you are.
- I can't believe you wrote a book, you are amazing.
Don't worry, I won't let the praise go to my head. Very much.

Not one bit surprised! Remember how I used to talk you up before you would come visit me at Utah State. If you came and visited me now, I'd do the same thing.
That is great--you deserve every one of those comments!! Speaking of the book, when do I get to read it?!!?!
