By Friday we had 2 replies expressing interest.
By Saturday, our yard looked like this:
Without Craig's List we would have spent half a day digging out the plants and probably would have paid to haul them away. The plants would be dead but our yard would be closer to it's planned transformation.
With Craig's List, the plants are granted amnesty and we didn't have to do the work. How great is that?

More than being impressed with Craig's list I'm impressed with your resourcefulness. I'm too lazy to post stuff. I just upgraded my bike and the guy told me I could sell my old part on ebay for like $50. I knew I'd never do it so i gave it to the bike service guy as a tip.
It takes minutes to post. I honestly didn't think I'd get anyone interested. I almost did it just to prove to Robert that no one would come and dig up and haul our plants for us. I was wrong.
Awesome. What are you going to do with your new space?
we are going to extend the concrete patio, redo the slope of the yard which has settled so that water flows down towards our house, make walkways using pavers, a smaller lawn with sprinklers, blueberry bushes, maybe a cherry tree, some lovely shade plants under the kitchen window, a rock garden for Jonah to look for bugs, and maybe a basketball hoop for the boys.
That is great! I can't believe people came & got them. Good to know...Also, it's good to know that we might be able to take advantage of someone like you--that sounds weird, but I think you know what I mean. :)
