Evidently, being stuck in the house for days on end while the snow piled up left me with a little free time. Free time in which I searched book blogs and writer blogs and even Amazon for books to add to my library waiting list.
Fortunately or unfortunately, almost all the books I put on hold were available right away.
And now I have 12 books waiting for me at the library. I still have 3 library books to be read, but I might return a few of those and check them out another time.
I'll have to let you know how the reading goes.
Yes, keep us posted because I'm about halfway through the last of my library holds.
ReplyDeleteYippe! :)
ReplyDeleteI like your title..."read like the wind"
I can't wait to get more reading recommendations from you. I'm almost done with The Hunger Games and I totally love it! I picked up The Hollow Kingdom yesterday at the library and will be reading that next. I have another sister of mine hooked on the "Daughter" trilogy (just the first 2 books)thanks to you. She's loving them.
ReplyDelete"Child" was a little frustrating for me, but the end was good--kind of unexpected, but good. Darragh was incredible-the lengths he would go to for Fainne! I liked the first 2 books so much better. What did you think?
Child of the Prophecy: I hated it, I liked it, I hated it, I was ok with it. Definitely not my favorite at all. I did request the 4th Seven Waters book from the library though.
ReplyDeleteOk, I am reading Sarah, because I never have and I just read The Giver before I gave it to my daughter, and I am also starting the Great and Terrible series by Chris Stewart. They have all been around for a while, but I swear, I only read when it is winter...
